Focus Lens D20mm – FL50.8mm
Focus Lens D20mm-FL50.8 is suitable for any CO2 laser with a 20mm lens tube. Lenses with longer focal lengths theoretically have a sharper kerf but the work is further away from the sphere of influence of the air-support. This Focus lens has a focal length of 50.8mm. It has a double-sided coating, high temperature resistance and long life, high light transmittance up to 99.9%, low absorption, strong light transmission and is wear resistant. Suitable for laser cutting machines and engraving machines.
You can easily determine the focus distance of a lens for your CO2 laser machine using a ruler and lamp. You shine a lamp through the lens (make sure the convexity is upwards) and then look at which height the focus point is smallest. On the ruler you can read which measure comes closest, that is the focus distance of the lens.
If you want to replace the Focus Lens, make sure you mount the lens with the convexity upwards. Lens comes in a protective box.
